SML, welcome back my friend !

True what you say about Orlando's offense, anyway Howard's improvments have been impressive, his numbers are unbelievable so I don't see how one can NOT vote him

NO way you can leave Nash out of the top 10, a two times MVP who is putting still those numbers at age 33 and in an always winning team (franchise ?) that is basically built around him

Had Paul played for LA, Chicago or NY, he would have been top 5 all year

I intentionally left Kobe out, all his numbers are lower than last season (but his team has more wins... coincidence?).

Duncan is another story, I wanted to insert Parker because he was last playoffs' MVP and he's continuing playing at the same level, also in Duncan's absence. Sort of "reward" for the surging star (I guess he couldn't wait to get this from S4G...)

Interesting list. The problem I have with naming Dwight Howard MVP is that, well, it is Rashard Lewis' addition that is opening up the offense. With legimate outside threats like Hedo and Lewis, it's the balanced offense that is pushing this team forward, not one individual.

If I was voting, I would get Stephen Jackson and Ron Artest into the top-10 (look at their teams records with and without them, and in Artest' case note that the Kings lost Kevin Martin). I would put Garnett, LeBron, Kobe and Duncan in the top 5, along with Boozer. Paul and Nash would round out the top 10.

Good post!
